I use a Standard food scale since years and it has been fine and a swift experience.
This one, though "smart" lures you in thinking it will be easier, faster and smart...
Again, it's the opposite!
1st, the scale doesn't power up every time automatically. Sometimes I have to wait up to 30 sec taping or pushing on it to take it out of its sleep mode. Food most of the time isn't heavy enough to wake it up, so you end up frustrated to have to do all sorts of tricks to have it powered on.
2nd, the app is a disaster in the user experience, it flickers , it adds useless steps in a simple workflow, and the food database is at least 1000x less accurate and rich than the one of MyFitnessPal.
3rd and finally, it says it integrates with MFP but it doesn't and my intention wasn't to move over to Renpho app, as the past 7 years food data are in MyFitnessPal!!
The image is misleading by the way...
